Organizing Pros Write the Best Organizing Books
These books are from the pros, all members of NAPO, the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals, or The Photo Managers. Purchase three ways: here, directly from the author, or at your local book store. The links below are to Amazon, and I will earn a pittance if you purchase through these links.
These pros have written practical organizing guides, related books, and even novels. Enjoy this diverse selection of helpful and fun books by real experts. Sadly, there are many books on organizing that aren’t worth the (virtual) ink they are printed on, even if some are very trendy. Did you know that some authors only write books to sell you stuff? (Weren’t you trying to simplify???) Did you know that some authors have never organized for a client? How do they know what works in their home will work in your home? Did you know that sometimes organizing isn’t about the stuff on your surfaces, but more about the stuff in your head? Are you looking for a specific topic, like estate organizing or helping a child? Get the real, transformative resources you need here.
Why would I highlight books from my “competitors?” Simple. I want you to get the help you need, even if it’s not from me. Our professional community includes experts on many different topics. I hope you’ll find just the right solution here for your organizing challenge.

WOW❗️ Thank you so much for compiling this tremendous resource 📝 list of 📔📗📚📙📒📘 ‘industry’ books.
When I began my business 38 years ago, there was only one (yes, 1️⃣) book available on organizing.
We are now so fortunate to be able to refer our clients (and potential clients) to all this fabulous information. It reinforces everything about Professional Organizers as a group:
• we share information freely
• we acknowledge there are many different
ways to get the task done
• we honor and respect our industry colleagues
• and last but not least…
“TOGETHER WE ARE BETTER❣️”
~Barbara Hemphill
This would be a great 📝 list to distribute to libraries all over the 🌎 world.
With Gratitude, 🥰
