This site and blog are all about helping you gain peace and purpose in your life.  We are up front about what we’re doing, so disclosures are the norm.  We may receive compensation from some posts, but all opinions expressed come from us.  We generally try really hard to identify content, ads, or posts as a paid or sponsored content when it is.  Any product claim, statistic, or other details about any product should be verified with the manufacturer or provider, since we don’t have our own big research team to check out all the tiny details. Here’s the legal mumbo jumbo:

This policy is valid from May 8, 2012, last updated July 2018. This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. For questions about this blog, please contact me.
This blog accepts forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation. This blog abides by word of mouth marketing standards. We believe in honesty of relationship, opinion and identity. The compensation received may influence the advertising content, topics or posts made in this blog. That content, advertising space or post will be clearly identified as paid or sponsored content. The owner(s) of this blog is compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. Even though the owner(s) of this blog receives compensation for our posts or advertisements, we always give our honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely the bloggers’ own. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question. This blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest.

Affiliate Policy

We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. We may also participate in other affiliate programs, and disclose when we have a relationship with vendors.

Giveaway Policy Periodically, this blog hosts fun giveaways for the readers. These events may be self-sponsored by the blog owner or may be sponsored by another individual, business or corporation. This may or may not be plainly stated in the actual giveaway. If you need further clarification, please ask. All giveaways, unless otherwise stated, will follow these guidelines: ~hosted and winners chosen via Rafflecopter. ~are hosted with the intent of adding a bit of fun to this site and in no way are meant to be a form of gambling or sweepstakes. ~open only to individuals in the continental USA, 18+. ~will start and end on dates listed on each specific contest. ~each winner will have 48 hours to claim prize, after being notified via the email they used to enter the contest. After 48 hours, if there is no response, another winner will be chosen. ~If you have won a prize from us in the last 60 days, you are ineligible to win again within 60 days.~If giveaway is self-hosted, site/blog owner agrees to mail prize to winner(s) within 14 days. ~If giveaway is sponsored by an outside entity, then winner will abide by their prize fulfillment periods, which may be as long as 180 days, depending on the company. Please know that I choose the companies I work with very carefully and only choose companies that I think are reputable and honest. That being said, it is an online world, and anything can happen. I cannot be held liable or responsible, should a vendor choose not to fulfill a promised prize. I will do whatever I can to try to get a company to make good on a promise, but there are no guarantees. Thankfully this has not ever happened and hopefully never will happen. ~All giveaway entrants agree to be honest and not cheat the systems; any suspect of fraud is decided upon by blog/site owner and the sponsor, and entrants may be disqualified at our discretion. ~Any prizes that may result in tax liability for the winner(s) are the winner(s) responsibility. ~Any and all giveaways may be promoted on Facebook, Twitter, email or other social network sites. This is a means of promotion only, and any promotion on those sites is not to be interpreted as Facebook or Twitter partaking in, or being in any way responsible for that particular contest. ~Winner(s) assumes all responsibility if further clarification is needed, prior to either entering a giveaway on this site or claiming a prize at the conclusion of a contest. ~Have fun, good luck & thanks for reading!

GDPR policies: We aim to comply with The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) goes into effect on May 25, 2018. Although it is a European law, we actually think it makes sense for all our clients. We include client information on email lists when they opt-in, and we always have. Opt-ins may include paper forms from events, requests via our main site, or requests to be contacted through any of our marketing efforts, such as online classes and social campaigns. When you give us your email in exchange for information, we aim to be as up front about what kind of information you’ll be getting in return, including ongoing tips and newsletters. We do use cookies on the website, and notify you of such when you visit our (amazing) blog. When you subscribe or opt-in to any of our newsletters, we make it just as easy to unsubscribe. Just click the unsubscribe button on the bottom of any message from us. We have always utilized an industry-compliant online marketing company to provide the email gateway for our newsletters, which makes unsubscribing easy and legitimate. Your financial data for purchases made is processed immediately and discarded if it is held in house. If your payment information goes through a third party payment processor, like Paypal, we don’t take any steps to acquire or retain your personal data. If you have been a paying client, we will retain a historical file of our work together, even if you unsubscribe from mailing services. This is for, among other reasons, the ability to support industry-required and certification-required audits. However, you always have the right to unsubscribe from future email campaigns. We take personal privacy and productivity seriously. If you have any questions, please Contact Me.
