And just like that it is GO Month again already. I still geek out about “Get Organized Month” and the chance to do things differently, even just a little bit, every year. I don’t do New Year’s resolutions because that feels like too much pressure, but learning something new? Now that I can get on board with. This week I sat with a 75 -year old client and taught him how to use an iPad. It was a big hill to climb, but he did great. You and me? We can learn something new this month, too. In fact, I’ve got three events designed just for you.
You probably know about Dry January, which is a movement to help people resolve to avoid or reduce drinking alcohol. “Januhairy” is, well, it’s a thing. It’s also National Blood Donor Month. January 19 is Dolly Parton’s birthday. I just finished reading her new biography, Behind the Seams (affiliate link), and it was pure fun.
But I know January as Get Organized month, aka GO Month, when the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO) proudly recognizes the universal desire for a fresh start at the New Year. NAPO and its members offer events and education to help people access the transformative power of organization in January.
I’ve got three events queued up for you to get motivated and get organized, and I hope you’ll take advantage of them. It never fails…I always get emails saying they didn’t see the registration, couldn’t find the link, or definitely want to take the class the next time their life isn’t so busy.
But THIS is your chance to get organized right now…this month. GO Month!
