Sell Kids Stuff This Fall at JBF Children’s Consignment near Philadelphia

There are so many things you just don’t know when you have kids. One of those things is how in the heck you are going to pay for all the stuff they need. Another is how to get rid of their stuff when they are no longer using it. Enter the Just Between Friends (JBF) Children’s Consignment Sales happening this fall near Philadelphia. I’ve been a big fan of this sale for years, and now there are four sales each season in the Philly burbs to help you save money. Not nickels and dimes…real money. Wardrobe money. New iPad money. Vacation money!

Disclosure, I am a paid influencer for #JBFPhilly, and that means I really, really think they are worth talking about.

In fact, I tell everyone I know about #JBFPhilly. Last week it was my salon stylist and a client. The week before that, another client and another mom.

I know it’s barely the end of summer, but now is the time to get in on the action if you are going to sell. If your kids are old enough, they can help. If your husband loves you enough, he can help, too. if you have a mother or SIL who wants in on the action? Well, then you’ve just about got it all.

And if you have it all…you might want to sell some of it. 🙂

Here’s what you are going to need to know:

Hop onto the website today and set up an account to sell.

Start gathering the goods in one place. All the toys, books, sports gear, and clothes that your kiddos have outgrown. I will not lie. This step usually means that you are giving up the dining room or the guest room for a couple of weeks. The good news is that you are clearing out the clutter as you gather. If it looks like this…then you know you are on the right track!

Getting ready to consign with JBF Philly

Start tagging!

YOU decide the price of your items.

YOU decide whether to sell items as singles or if they would sell best as sets or collections.

YOU decide if you want items to sell at half price on the last day of the sale…or not.

YOU drop off one day and the sale ends just a few days later. No waiting for months to see what sells.

YOU decide if you want to pick up your unsold items at the end, or if you want #JBFPhilly to donate them and send you the receipt for tax deductions.

YOU get paid up to 70% of the sale price of the items.

As a way to reduce clutter in your house, I can’t recommend it enough.

Also, I know it’s hard to let go of those cute outfits, those toys that friends bought, that gear that was so expensive! Knowing that it’s going to be loved by another family who really wants it takes the sting out.

My favorite part? Going to buy next-to-new items at a fraction of retail price for next season! In fact, I even shop for Christmas presents at the fall sale. I figure that each Christmas that I’ve gifted JBF items under the tree is money that I’ve been able to put in their college accounts to pay for a semester of books. Seriously…the sales are that good!
