You know how I’m always going on and on about not buying additional cleaning supplies to muck up your organized closets and cabinets? Well, I’m going to give you another way to remove stickers today, and you don’t need to buy anything new, because that workhorse of a hair dryer can git ‘er done for you.

I’ve been known to use orange oil to remove stickers from things like mirrors, but when I’ve got something like these cardboard-based binders, something oily isn’t going to work. But a hair dryer will work most of the time.

This is ridiculously satisfying.

This took me about 30 seconds. Maybe 45 seconds, tops, and no damage to the binders.

The only thing this little trick has not worked perfectly on was the stickers that we sometimes find on replacement windows. For those, we usually end up using orange oil and a little scraping, to be honest.

This also works wonders on pill bottles. Remove the labels to protect your privacy. Shred the labels. Then recycle the bottles and lids in your regular municipal recycling.
