A Look Back and a Hidden Home Deal for You

This is the time of year that top 10 lists and year-end reviews are popular. I stink at that. I’m always moving ahead, working on the next thing. Right now I’m in the midst of buying airfare for 4 trips next year and finishing up a major room renovation. I’ve got little time for reminiscing, but Wayfair is featuring one of my favorite products this week with a Wayfair Hidden Home Deal, and so I thought I’d look back at one of my favorite projects last year.

There are few items harder to shop for than the perfect office chair, but I’ve found a few. In this home office makeover, we went with a soft blue side chair with silver nail head trimmings.

Normally I like to have my office chairs on wheels, but that’s not a hard and fast rule. If you need a little variation in your sitting position, you can always add a tiny stool under your desk. What we did here was take the wooden printer stand, painted it coordinating stripes, and repurposed it under the desk as a perch for tired feet.

If you want to pick up one of these chairs, you’ll have two things to smile about. First, they come in pairs for a very reasonable price. We set up hubby with his own workstation across the room with the second chair in this pair, but I could easily see a second chair working in a dressing room, or even in a dining nook or elsewhere in the house. home office makeover with a second desk

As I mentioned above, Wayfair is featuring this as their Hidden Home Deal for just this week, which means out of all their lovely side chairs, you can take an additional 20% off the Mercer Gretchen Side Chair pair when you click on the Hidden Home Deal on the left side on the Wayfair site, just under their awesome search filters.

If this one isn’t for you, you are likely to find another lovely chair to help out in your home office. If you do, I’d love to hear what you settle on, so to speak.
