Electronics Recycling

Most paper shredding events do NOT accept electronics for recycling. You might find this link helpful for electronics recycling drop off locations in PA. Currently, as of 2017, it’s difficult to find a site to recycle a large, non-flat screen TV due to laws and fees associated with electronics disposal. It is unlawful to put your TV at the curb in PA.

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Events

If improperly discarded, household products containing toxic chemicals can be a threat to people, pets and the environment. Never dispose of hazardous materials in the trash as they may harm your sanitation workers or result in a collection vehicle fire. It is also unsafe to pour HHW down a sink or storm drain as it will end up polluting our drinking water.

Please visit this website for Delaware County, PA HHW collection event dates and locations http://www.co.delaware.pa.us/recycle/hhw.html.

Please visit the state of Delaware’s page for the HHW and monthly paper shredding dates.
